i messed up in cooking..i can't cook for worlds

i remember my F&N/HE teacher was scolding how lousy i am..unable to cook..if i cooked..i would burn down the kitchen

I'm majoring in mechanical engineering.

So I don't learn a lot about electrical stuff, although I do have a working knowledge of it.

If anything, we engineers don't really learn about things like fixing plugs - that's more for technicians to handle, not engineers.
